Still, even bookstores aren't that hard. Everything's alphabetized somehow (like manga is done by title, then author), so all you have to do is look at the covers to find out how it's done - and every single shelf says what belongs there. It's not too difficult. -_-

I don't get my reviews from TV, I don't have cable ^_^ Most of my reviews I get from the interwebs, and from places like www.gamerankings.com/ Though really I mostly go by word of mouth, trying the game, and/or going by my instincts. There are a lot of games I've loved that have been trashed by critics, and a lot of games I hate that have been praised. A lot of it depends on taste and tolerence (like "I have a taste for adventure games, but I can tolerate shooter elements"), so the best thing you can do if find a reviewer who has similar tastes as you and stick with them. As for customers... i haven't ever worked in retail, but if its anything like food service (i.e. fast food, where I worked for 2.5 years before landing a sweet job in my university's library) then I'm amazed most malls haven't been burned to the ground by angry employees by now But employees can be idiots too... the last time I went into Gamestop, the guy at the register didn't know what WARCRAFT was (he knew world of warcraft, but not the game of the year RTS that spawned the MMO). It was all I could do not to laugh at the guy XD

Wow. That was one absolutely fascinating discussion on video games.
I have a question. (Warning, rantage follows)
What about gamers that think they're "SOO AWESOME" and come in and play your games and bash the game for being so "easy." Then when they come to a part you find hard, you try to warn them about it, and they smart off and act as if "only an idiot wouldn't figure that out." And then get mad at you for telling them something they should have ALREADY KNOWN FROM PLAYING THE GAME. And then ask questions about the game, but not want you to tell them! Or even worse, scoff at your help, but then moan and whine when they can't get past a certain point.
If your answer is NUKE THEM, please, direct me to the nearest silo. I've got a roommate in need of some "treatment."
Last time I share a game, let me tell ya...

What I don't get is people who go into Blockbuster and move the games around, putting the wrong ones behind them. ~_~ One time I picked up a game and didn't look at the box and when I got to the car realized I got something extremely different from Harvest Moon. I had to go back in and apologize to the kid who checked me out, tell him what happened, and ask if I could please exchange it for the right game. -__- Now every time I go in there I can't help looking behind the games and re-arranging them to where they belong.
Lol Chu... that was totally nonsensical. XD

I'd kick them in the teeth with a steel-toed boot.
Anyway, something that Erik and i also see a lot at our local Boarders, is that they have the Kingdom Hearts manga displayed separately most the time. Well, a lot of people who look at it will turn it so that the back is facing outwards. This frustrates us to no end x.x

I thought the KH manga was alright. I only read the first volume or two, if I remember.

I read the domestic releases exclusively for both series. Tokyopop does a really good job bringing them over - especially with the extensive notes on cultural references - and I really prefer professional work to scanlations when the pros actually make an effort to do it right, as Tokyopop have. <3 Tsubasa/HOLiC!
